About Our Region

The Arctic Alaska Region was founded to provide a home for Road Rally in Alaska, and we received our Charter from the Sports Car Club of America in 1989. Our Region, which encompasses the boundaries of the State of Alaska, sanctions Road Rally, Solo (aka Autocross), and RallyCross events across the State for our membership and fellow motorsport enthusiasts.

An all volunteer organization, our region is involved in community activities to include hosting for the past three years a charity autocross where proceeds support local children’s services. Our Region is committed to the Mission of the SCCA to fuel a safe, fun and exciting motorsports experience for auto enthusiasts. We have the Vision to be the preferred motorsports community in Alaska, built on fun, shared passion and access to an exhilarating motorsports experience.
